Like a Kid in a Candy Store

Here's my favorite picture of Alex with cousin Estee. This is before we moved, at Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey. We told them several times that no candy would be purchased prior to lunch, but when they saw Carousel Candies, amnesia set in and they went running. We told them "no" once again in the shop, and they lingered there in the door frame to sulk. Classic. Notice the rounded, slumped-shoulder stance my son has perfected. Estee has a lovely example of "bottom-lip protrusion." I give them both 100%.
